BME event host Christian Lucas Buonpastore is a southern New Jersey native growing up minutes away from the Walt Whitman bridge. He initially got his start in the DJ arena by shooting video for BME Event Group in early 2013. It wasn’t long after Christian; who is a life long lover of music, went from being behind the camera to also being behind the DJ booth. He spent years assisting BME talent on weddings and parties before he began rocking them on his own.
His DJ sets are often described as “true open format” for his quick mixing style and knowledge of a wide variety of genres & eras. In 2018 Christian is slated to become an official Scratch Academy certified DJ graduating from their intense & educational program. Learning off of Philadelphia legend’s Cosmo Baker, DJ Sat-One & DJ Mike Nyce. Christian’s name is one that is growing in the Delaware Valley scene having locked down a residency at popular Philadelphia alternative nightclub “The Barbary” with his unique monthly event called “The Feels: Future Bass, Deep Grooves & Bright Beautiful Beats.”.
His rise in the DJ community has risen greatly in a short amount of time due to his unique taste & appealing persona. Christian is often a crowd favorite when Djing weddings and enjoys playing for the wide variety of people that attend weddings. “I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ service for my wedding! Due to a worldwide disaster that shall remain nameless, I had to postpone my wedding date by an entire year. BME were gracious enough to work with my fiancé and I and reschedule with no problems, and were so patient with us as we worked through the date change. On our wedding day, Christian Lucas was our MC for the evening; his attentiveness, kindness, patience, and professionalism was so refreshing. He was so sweet, super understanding of our music tastes, and kept my friends and family partying hard through the night! He incorporated his own picks into our playlist, too, and everything blended PERFECTLY. I trusted him completely to make my wedding perfect, and he delivered tenfold. 10/10, 5 stars, S tier. “BME Event Group made my wedding day so much fun! The DJ (Christian Lucas) & his assistant kept my guests up & moving all night long. The photographer (Angela Riley) did more than take photos, she helped make things go as smooth as possible for me. She assisted me when needed throughout the entire night. The uplighting & atmosphere it created was great! It definitely added an extra touch to the room & made it look amazing. The cinematographer did an absolutely phenomenal job on our wedding highlights, interviews, & videos. The drone footage looked awesome as well. Everything came out amazing! I wish I could redo my wedding day again & again! Thank goodness I have my photos & videos to look back on. I highly recommend BME Event Group! They all are very knowledgeable in their perspective fields. I will most certainly keep them in mind for my next family party.”
